Periods est Dana Colin, munie de synthétiseurs et de boîtes à rythmes.
La multi-instrumentaliste compose, écrit et interprète dans sa chambre des morceaux synth punk, electro et pop.
Au-delà des genres musicaux, Periods représente un espace créatif dans lequel Dana se permet de crier, de fantasmer, de faire le deuil mais surtout d’être libre…
La catharsis prend les contours de chansons aux paroles frontales, parce qu’en français. Singuliers mais universels, ses textes représentent la vie d’une femme en 2021 : l’amour, l’amitié, les hommes sexistes et agresseurs sexuels, la masturbation, les orgasmes qu’on a pas.
Une liberté farouche qui a d’abord pris forme en trio pour la sortie de l’EP Vocoder 3000 (autoprod avec le soutien de I Love Limoges Records) sorti en 2019.

Periods is Dana Colin, equipped with synthesizers and drum machines,the multi-instrumentalist composes, writes and performs in her bedroom synth punk, electro and pop.
Beyond musical genres, Periods represents a creative space in which Dana allows herself to scream, fantasise and Dana allows herself to scream, to fantasize, to mourn, but above all to be free...
The catharsis takes the form of songs with frontal lyrics, because they are in French.
Singular but universal, her lyrics represent the life of a woman in 2021: love, friendship, sexist men, and so on, friendship, sexist men and sexual aggressors, masturbation, orgasms that we don't have not.
A fierce freedom that first took shape as a trio for the release of the EP Vocoder 3000 (self-produced with the support of I Love Limoges Records) released in 2019.
